Many people know us as the “orchid place.” Although orchids are only part of our diversified business, we still love them and offer a wide selection.

Stony Hill Gardens has been growing orchids for more than 14 years. Dale Davis began his horticultural career as an orchid grower. When he and Carol first opened Stony Hill Gardens, its focus was on cut flower orchids.

The market changed, and we no longer produce wholesale cut flower orchids. Instead, we now focus on potted orchids. Please visit our orchid gallery to view some of our many gorgeous orchids.

Each March, we hold our annual Orchid Open House. Our 21st Annual Open House will be Feb 1 - March 1, 2009. We have hundreds of orchids in bloom and in stock, and many continue to bloom throughout the year. Be sure to bring your camera with you!

Once again, we’ll be attending the Greater New York International Orchid Show from April 18 to 22, 2007. Just imagine...Rockefeller Center in full bloom with thousands of orchids at their peak!
